Back in 1975, Owner Bryan Ramlow started in the HVAC-R industry with a sole-proprietorship venture. In 1999, it became a true family business when Bryan and Linda Ramlow and Joe and Dawn Ballweg formed the present day LLC. Along with an experienced and talented crew, grandsons George and Hugh Ballweg are proudly representing the third generation to excel in the HVAC industry.

We are a Federally Certified Woman-Owned, Small Business Enterprise focused mainly on government work at the Federal, State and Local levels. Projects done at military facilities, prisons, hospitals, airports and on the UW Campus are what we are equipped to do.

Design Assist is our strong suit. Prime Mechanical of Wisconsin, LLC holds the Designer of Engineering Systems credentials, on staff Master Electrician, and is a licensed Boiler, Refrigeration, HVAC and Electrical Contractor.

Prime Mechanical uses in-house experience and technical knowledge to tackle and solve problems on existing designs. With strict attention to cost/benefit ratios, our service-oriented background is geared to solutions rather than parts changing, which is so common in the industry today. With the real problems identified -then and only then- our fabrication and installation team is tasked with the corrective measures that will actually work. We have proven ourselves to be a contractor that can handle the tough assignments that require well-honed insight and troubleshooting abilities.
